Demonstration to increase salary in Manesar factories, police lathicharged
Police and employees came face to face in Manesar, located in Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi. Employees of more than six companies in Manesar went on strike demanding increase in salary. On Wednesday, the employees surrounded the SDM office and later there was a clash between the police and the protesters.
Section 163 is in force in Manesar and police used force to remove the employees. The work of the employees has come to a standstill due to the strike. Employees are not ready to return to work. When the employees gathered at the gate, the police started chasing them and lathicharged them. After this there was a stampede there. The police have dispersed the protesters. However, the protesting employees are refusing to return to work.

many injured
Many employees were injured in this stampede. According to a report, 50 protesters were injured in the stampede. Along with this, 20 employees have also been injured. An employee has lost a lot of blood after being hit with a stick on his head. Police said that Section 163 is applicable here and any kind of protest is not allowed.
Police bike set on fire
After the lathicharge, the police and protesters came face to face. Creating ruckus in protest, the employees set the police bike on fire. Along with this, a Bolero has also been vandalized. Along with this, a vehicle of Dial 112 has also been vandalized. The police chased away the protesters from there. Right now the atmosphere in the area remains tense.

What is the whole matter?
A company Honda has increased the salary of its employees from Rs 11 thousand to Rs 16 thousand. The employees of this company were also protesting for a long time and demanding increase in salary. After this, employees of more than half a dozen companies also became adamant on the demand of increasing their salaries. The police deployed force in view of the protest but the atmosphere became tense on Thursday. The employees’ union says that the police are forcing them to work instead of urging them to return to work.
