Lab to Land and Mudra Scheme will open a new path to prosperity in villages, migration will stop, the fate of rural youth will change.

News India Live, Digital Desk: The soul of India resides in the villages, and now the government has geared up to empower this ‘soul’ economically. Revolutionary steps like the Central Government’s ‘Lab to Land’ scheme and ‘Mudra Yojana’ to promote rural entrepreneurship have now started changing the face of villages. Its biggest impact is being seen on the migration of rural youth towards cities, who are now starting their own startups while living in their own homes. Lab to Land: Technology of scientists now reaching the fields of farmers. The biggest obstacle in the path of rural development has been the lack of technology. The government’s ‘Lab to Land’ program has bridged this gap. Under this initiative, advanced technologies developed in Krishi Vigyan Kendras and laboratories are being delivered directly to the farmers and rural youth. Be it soil testing, spraying pesticides with drones or new methods of organic farming—the youth are now looking at modern farming as a profitable business model. This is not only increasing the production, but is also creating new opportunities for setting up processing units at the rural level. Mudra and Startup India: Opportunity to fly without guarantee loan. Rural youth had ideas, but lack of capital came in the way. Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana has solved this problem. ‘Shishu’, ‘Kishore’ and ‘Tarun’ loans, available without any guarantee, have paved the way for setting up grocery stores, tailoring units, food processing and small manufacturing plants even in small villages. At the same time, under ‘Startup India’, rural startups are now being given special exemptions and guidance, due to which village boys and girls are now becoming ‘job givers’ instead of ‘job seekers’. Migration is stopping, villages are becoming prosperous. Experts believe that when they get employment and respect in the villages themselves, the youth will not run towards the crowded and difficult life of the cities. With the increase in rural entrepreneurship, a new ecosystem is being created at the local level. This is not only reducing unemployment but also improving rural infrastructure. The government aims to double the share of villages in the country’s GDP by making them self-reliant in the coming years.
