Lucknow. Big news has come for the voters in Uttar Pradesh. The Election Commission has released the final voter list of the state. After the release of this list, now people can easily check their name sitting at home and can also download it if needed.
This final list has been prepared after the completion of the Special Summary Revision (SIR) process, in which the voter list is updated.
How many voters are there in UP?
According to the latest data, the total number of voters in Uttar Pradesh is now around 13.39 crore. Of these, male voters are about 7.30 crore and female voters are about 6.09 crore. This time a larger number of names have been removed as compared to the previous list, due to which the total number of voters has decreased.
How to check name in voter list?
Now checking voter list has become much easier than before. You can search your name in three ways. For this you will have to visit the website electoralsearch.eci.gov.in.
1. Search by EPIC number: You can directly search the name through the EPIC number given on your Voter ID card.
2. Check by mobile number: You can see your name after OTP verification by visiting the Election Commission website and entering your mobile number.
3. Search by filling details: If you do not have EPIC or mobile number, you can also search your name by filling information like name, age, father/husband name and assembly constituency.
How to download voter list online?
If you want to download the complete voter list then you will have to visit the official website of the Election Commission. There you will have to fill the district, assembly constituency and other information by choosing Uttar Pradesh state, year 2026 and SIR Final Roll option. After this, by entering the captcha code and clicking on Download Selected PDFs, you can download the voter list of your area.
