RR vs RCB: Rajat Patidar hit a stormy half-century, RCB gave Rajasthan a target of 202 to win.

RR vs RCB: The 16th match of IPL 2026 is being played between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. In this match, Riyan Parag won the toss and decided to bowl first and invited Rajat Patidara to bat first. In this match, RCB, batting first, scored 201 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Rajat Patidar scored the most runs for the team. Now Rajasthan will have to score 202 runs to win.

RCB had a bad start

Phil Salt and Virat Kohli came to open the innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Joffre Archer, who was bowling the first over for Rajasthan, sent Salt to the pavilion on the very first ball of the match at the score of zero. After this the team got the second blow in the form of Devdutt Padikkal (14). By dismissing him, Archer got his second wicket.

Virat Kohli scored 32 runs

After this, Virat Kohli tried to handle the innings but he could not play a long innings and returned to the pavilion as the third wicket of RCB. Virat scored 32 runs in 16 balls with 7 fours. After Kohli, Krunal Pandya (1) and Jitesh Sharma (5) returned to the pavilion after scoring runs.

David and Shepherd also failed

RCB got the sixth blow in the form of Tim David. He became the second victim of Brijesh Sharma after scoring 13 runs. After him, Romario Shepherd became the victim of Ravindra Jadeja after scoring 22 runs in 11 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. In this match, RCB used Venkatesh Iyer as an impact player.

Rajat Patidar scored the most runs

Captain Rajat Patidar scored the most runs in this match. He played a brilliant half-century innings in difficult times. He completed 50 runs in 35 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Patidar scored an inning of 63 runs in 40 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes.

In this match, Venkatesh Iyer contributed 29 runs and Bhuvneshwar Kumar contributed 9 runs for RCB. Jofra Archer, Brijesh Sharma, Ravi Bishnoi took 2-2 wickets in this match for Rajasthan Royals. Apart from this, Sandeep Sharma took 1 wicket.
