42 Special Educators, 1 Sign Language Interpreter and 48 Translators empaneled by Punjab Government
Punjab News: Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has taken another humanitarian and child friendly step for the welfare of needy and children with special needs. To ensure communication facilities for children and overcome language difficulties, 42 special educators, 1 sign language interpreter and 48 translators have been included in the panel.

Giving information in this regard, Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljeet Kaur said that children with special needs often find it difficult to express their feelings and problems, which affects the process of their care and rehabilitation. Now these experts will play an important role in simplifying the communication between children and child welfare authorities.

Dr. Baljeet Kaur said that these special educators, sign language interpreters and translators will help in creating a conducive environment for the children, counseling them, speeding up the rehabilitation process and reuniting the children with their families or guardians.
