0Petrol Diesel Rate Today: After the announcement of ceasefire between America and Iran and despite considerable fluctuations in the global crude oil markets, petrol and diesel prices in India have remained stable. While initially there was a sharp decline in crude oil prices, uncertainty over the durability of the ceasefire as well as the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz has led to prices once again rising towards the $100 per barrel level. Today, there is no new change in the retail prices of petrol and diesel in major cities of the country.

Why are home prices not changing?
Despite a huge fall in international crude oil prices following the ceasefire between the US and Iran, retail prices of petrol and diesel have remained the same for the last several weeks. State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) like IOCL and BPCL are keeping prices stable to keep inflationary pressure under control, and are also closely monitoring the sustainability of the ceasefire.
