BJP Bengal Manifesto 2026: BJP released the manifesto for Bengal, know what is in it

Friends, as we all know that at this time the eyes of the whole of India are on the elections to be held in West Bengal, for which all the parties have geared up, on April 10, the Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto, titled “Pledge of Trust”. Releasing this document, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called it an approach based on public trust

He said that the purpose of this manifesto is to give hope to the unemployed youth, ensure the safety of women and pave the way for a bright future. The document also presents a framework in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Developed India”. During the event, the BJP also criticized the current government led by Mamata Banerjee, and alleged that the state was functioning in an atmosphere of fear.

Main points of BJP manifesto

Zero tolerance on intrusion:

The party has promised strict action under the policy of “Detect, Delete, and Deport” to identify and remove illegal infiltrators.

Financial Assistance for Women:

A monthly assistance amount of ₹3,000 will be transferred directly into the bank accounts of women. Free travel for women in state-run buses has also been promised.

Support for youth:

Unemployed youth will be given ₹3,000 every month until they get a job.

Implementation of 7th Pay Commission:

Its recommendations will be implemented within 45 days, along with guarantee of dearness allowance (DA) for pensioners.

Health Benefits:

Ayushman Bharat scheme will be implemented to reduce the medical expenses of the citizens.

Uniform Civil Code (UCC):

Steps will be taken in this direction within six months of the formation of the government.

Women Empowerment Initiative:

Aiming to create 75 lakh “Lakhpati Didis” and financial assistance of ₹21,000 for pregnant women.

Limits and safeguards:

Plans to seal borders and stop cattle smuggling.

Amit Shah’s statement on changes in Bengal

Amit Shah emphasized that after years of rule, the people of West Bengal now want change. He underlined the role of BJP as a strong opposition in the last decade and credited the Modi government for setting an example of corruption-free governance in the country.

A ‘White Paper’ on the tenure of the current government

Commission formed under the chairmanship of a retired judge to investigate political violence

Strict action against corruption and crime
