Big Relief: Pawan Kheda gets one week anticipatory bail from Telangana High Court, permission to go to the concerned court.
New Delhi: Telangana High Court on Friday gave a week’s anticipatory bail to Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera, giving a big relief. Along with this, permission has been given to go to the concerned court.

Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda was given this relief by the court during the hearing on Friday in a case registered in Assam. Court judge Justice Sujana Kalasikam said that Pawan Kheda is given a week’s time so that he can approach the concerned court and apply for regular bail. During this time, they will get relief from arrest with certain conditions.
Assam Police has registered a case against Pawan Kheda
Actually, this case has been registered by Assam Police. Pawan Kheda is accused of making serious allegations against Rinki Bhuiyan Sarma, wife of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Pawan Kheda had claimed on April 5 that the Chief Minister’s wife had several passports and property abroad, information about which was not given in the election affidavit.
Assam and Delhi Police had arrived to interrogate Pawan Kheda.

Actually, Assam Police, along with Delhi Police, had reached Pawan Kheda’s residence to interrogate him, but he was not found present there. This action was being taken in the case in which Kheda had accused Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife of possessing three foreign passports. Meanwhile, Pawan Kheda had approached the Telangana High Court for anticipatory bail. He told the court his residential address as Hyderabad and sought relief in case of arrest. It is being told that he has family ties to Telangana and also has a personal residence in Hyderabad. Besides, the presence of Congress government in the state is also being linked to this step.
What allegations did Pawan Kheda make?
The matter gained momentum when Pawan Kheda made serious allegations against Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his wife Rinki Sarma in a press conference. Pawan Kheda claimed that Rinki Sarma holds passports of three different countries and his supporters have documents that prove this alleged revelation. He called it a big matter in the politics of independent India.

However, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma rejected these allegations, calling them completely baseless, malicious and politically motivated. He said that Pawan Kheda is trying to mislead the public. Earlier, CM Sarma had sarcastically said that the person who was earlier challenging the arrest, has now gone to Hyderabad to avoid investigation.
