Bureau Prayagraj. Taking major action in the famous Irfan Ahmed murder case in Kareli police station area, the police have arrested two wanted accused. Ashraf is linked to the murder of Ahmed’s driver Irfan Ahmed, which had created a sensation in the area.
According to the police, the arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Hussain alias Plumber and Mohammad Wasim alias Kabutar. Both were detained on the basis of surveillance and informer’s information. During the arrest, the police also recovered a motorcycle used in the crime from their possession.
Important revelations during interrogation
During police interrogation, the accused have revealed that they committed this crime at the behest of a person. However, the police have not yet made public the name of the mastermind. Officials say that the entire network is being thoroughly investigated and arrest of other accused is also possible soon.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the reason for the murder could be a land dispute. The police is investigating the case keeping this angle in mind, along with old criminal relations and rivalries are also being investigated.
