IPL 2026 CSK vs DC Playing 11: Ruturaj Gaikwad-led Chennai Super Kings will square off against Axar Patel-led Delhi Capitals in the 18th match of the IPL 2026 on April 11 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
Chennai have suffered three back-to-back defeats in the ongoing season and will be aiming for a win. Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals have two wins out of three games in the ongoing IPL 2026 season.
Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals have met on 31 occasions, where CSK has 19 wins while Delhi Capitals have won on 12 occasions.
With CSK reeling at the bottom, the Delhi Capitals are currently in the fourth position of the IPL 2026 points table. Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl.
Speaking on the toss, Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel said, “We are going to bowl first. The wicket looks good. Yes, whatever they post, we will chase it down. IPL is a big tournament. CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad said, “Yeah, obviously it is a fresh pitch. Red soil pitch. I feel there would be help in the initial few overs but I think it is a bit on the dry side as well. We were 50-50 on the toss, good to bat first.
(On getting off the mark) That’s what we have been trying in the last few games. Batting has been doing really well. Just that there have been a few moments we should have been cashing on and we have been missing out on that but definitely everyone is in good zone and good to go,” concluded Gaikwad.
