PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi faced each other in the Parliament complex on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the great social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule. The two leaders not only greeted each other, but also stopped for a few moments and had a brief conversation.

At the same time, Rahul Gandhi also paid tribute to him and described him as a great man who awakened the flame of equality and education in the society. Both the leaders took turns garlanding the statue and stressed the relevance of Phule’s ideas in the building of India.
