China’s move in Iran-US talks: Arms supply may increase tension

China once again seems to be playing a big game in global politics. Amidst the ongoing ceasefire talks between Iran and the United States, China is accused of preparing to provide dangerous air defense systems to Iran. Due to this, the eyes of the whole world have focused on this development.

Preparing for war along with talks

While on one hand Iran and the United States are holding peace talks, on the other hand both the countries are also increasing their military strength. Experts believe that this is a “dual strategy” – that is, negotiation and preparation.

Will China provide dangerous weapons?

According to reports, China is planning to provide air defense systems like MANPADS to Iran. These are weapons that can be carried on the shoulder and can easily target low-flying aircraft. If this happens, it could become a big challenge for the fighter jets of the United States.

China refused

However, China has rejected all these reports outright. The Chinese Embassy in Washington says that China is not providing weapons to any side and is trying to maintain peace.

What is China’s real strategy?

Experts believe that China is playing a “balance game” instead of jumping directly into war. On one hand, it wants to remain an ally of Iran because it gets oil from there, while on the other hand, it does not want to openly go against the United States.
