According to the latest alert of the Meteorological Department (IMD), the situation is not normal. Cyclonic circulation has become active, due to which there is a possibility of worsening weather in many states simultaneously. There is a danger of strong winds, rain, storm and hailstorm at some places. The speed of winds can reach 50 to 60 km per hour. At the same time, due to rapid increase in temperature in many areas, heat wave conditions may also arise.

Alert in these states

Warning of heavy rain and storm has been issued in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. There is also a danger of lightning and falling of trees in these areas.

Farmers have been advised to be especially cautious, because this weather can damage the crops. Instructions have been given to avoid working in the open and stay in a safe place.

Condition of Delhi-NCR

At present the weather is clear in Delhi-NCR, but the effect of sunlight is increasing. The temperature may rise to 35 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours. The minimum temperature is expected to be between 19 to 21 degrees. Winds will blow at a speed of 10 to 20 km per hour. The heat will increase further in the coming days and heat wave-like conditions may occur.

Heat will increase in UP

Now the relief from rain in Uttar Pradesh has ended and the heat has gained momentum. Hot winds are blowing at 30 to 40 km per hour. In many districts the temperature has reached above 35 degrees. The effect of heat wave can be seen in Meerut, Agra, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur. The temperature may increase by 3 to 4 degrees in the coming days.

Effect of heat wave in Bihar also

The temperature is increasing rapidly in Bihar also. The effect of heat has increased in Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur. The temperature may increase by 5 to 6 degrees in the next few days. Hot winds will blow at 40 to 50 km per hour, which will increase the risk of heat wave.

Western Disturbance in Rajasthan

Due to Western Disturbance, a slight change is being seen in the weather in Rajasthan. Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Bharatpur may remain cloudy and light rain and thunderstorm are possible at some places. Although this effect will not last long, after this the heat will increase again.

Heat wave in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh

There is a possibility of severe heat in Madhya Pradesh in the coming days. The temperature is increasing rapidly in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa. Whereas in Chhattisgarh, heat wave is expected between 14th to 17th April.

Rain and snowfall in hilly states

There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Uttarkashi and Rudraprayag of Uttarakhand. The weather will also remain changed in Shimla, Kangra, Kullu and Manali of Himachal Pradesh between April 12 and 17. There may also be light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, due to which the temperature will drop.

Due to cyclonic circulation over South India, it will be cloudy with light to moderate rain over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. At the same time, warning of heavy rain and strong storm has been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. Here winds can blow at a speed of 60 to 70 km per hour, due to which the risk of floods and landslides has increased.
