While the Leaning Tower of Pisa is inclined by approximately 4 degrees, the inclination of the Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple is said to be approximately 9 degrees. This is the reason why it is also called the ‘Leaning Temple’ of India.

There are many folktales prevalent regarding the construction of this temple. According to a belief, it was built by a maid to show her devotion to her mother. But some people of the society raised questions on this, due to which this temple bowed down. Although, this is just a folklore, but this story makes this temple even more interesting.
