21 hours talks failed, Deputy Prime Minister made special appeal to US Iran
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, while giving a statement on US-Iran talks, said that it is important for both the sides to maintain their commitment towards the ceasefire. He said, “We hope that both countries will move forward with a positive mindset, so that lasting peace and prosperity can be achieved in the entire region and beyond.”
Dar also said that Pakistan will continue to play its role in facilitating dialogue and communication between America and Iran in the coming days. He also thanked both sides for appreciating Pakistan’s efforts in achieving the ceasefire, and expressed hope that both countries would maintain a positive attitude towards a lasting peace.
