Islamabad Talks Fail: US-Iran peace talks, US Vice President JD Vance returns without agreement
Islamabad Talks Fail: No concrete result emerged from the peace talks between America and Iran in Islamabad. US Vice President JD Vance told in his press conference that despite 21-hour long talks between the two countries, no agreement could be reached. Vance said, “The bad news is that we have not been able to reach any conclusion. This is more bad news for Iran than for the United States, because Iran has refused to accept our terms.”
He further said, “We came here with an open mind, but Iran did not accept our conditions. Now we are going back to America without any agreement.”
Vance also made it clear that America’s priority is that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons, but Iran expressed no willingness to take any constructive steps in this matter.
