Thunder vs Nuggets injury report: SGA and Jokic listed

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets meet Friday at Ball Arena in a Western Conference matchup shaped heavily by injury management on both sides. The Thunder enter as the No. 1 seed in the West at 64-16, while Denver sits third at 52-28.

Oklahoma City’s injury report is extensive, with nearly its entire core rotation ruled out. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein, and multiple rotation guards are all listed out.

Alex Caruso, Isaiah Joe, Cason Wallace, Ajay Mitchell, and both Jaylin Williams and Thomas Sorber are also unavailable, leaving Oklahoma City without its primary two-way structure and rim protection core.

The absence of Gilgeous-Alexander, who averages 31.1 points and 6.6 assists per game, removes the Thunder’s primary half-court creation engine. Holmgren’s rim protection and spacing are also missing, which alters both defensive coverage and transition spacing.

Denver’s injury report is less extensive but centers on high-impact uncertainty. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon are all listed as questionable heading into the matchup, alongside Peyton Watson as out. Spencer Jones is also out.

Jokic’s status is particularly significant given his 27.8 points and 10.9 assists per game production, while Murray’s perimeter scoring and late-clock shot creation remain central to Denver’s offensive efficiency.

The season series has already been controlled by Oklahoma City, which holds a 3-0 record against Denver in 2025-26, including an overtime win in their most recent meeting.

Both teams also enter on strong recent form. The Thunder have won consecutive road games in Los Angeles, while the Nuggets are coming off back-to-back home victories, including an overtime win against Portland.
