Mumbai Local Train Mega Block : Mumbaikars Mega block on all three lines tomorrow; These local flights are cancelled

Mumbai Local Train Mega Block | Important news is coming for Mumbaikars. There will be mega block tomorrow on all three routes of Mumbai local. Therefore, many trips have been canceled and go out only after checking the schedule while leaving home. This block has been released tomorrow on 12th April 2026 for necessary engineering and maintenance works.

According to railway officials, this ‘mega block’ is necessary for maintenance of railway infrastructure and operational safety. Passengers are advised to plan their journey accordingly.

The block will be applicable on the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ Slow Lines between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Vidyavihar on the main line from 10:55 am to 3:55 pm. During this period, ‘down’ slow trains departing from CSMT between 10:48 am to 3:45 pm will be diverted to the express line between CSMT and Vidyavihar. These trains will stop at Byculla, Paral, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla stations before diverting back to the slow line at Vidyavihar. Similarly, ‘up’ slow trains departing from Ghatkopar between 10:19 am and 3:52 pm will be diverted to the fast line between Vidyavihar and CSMT. On the Harbor line, train services at some important stages have been suspended. Hence ‘Down’ Harbor trains from CSMT towards Chunabhatti and Bandra will be affected from 11:40 am to 4:40 pm while ‘Up’ Harbor trains from Chunabhatti and Bandra towards CSMT will be affected from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm.

Additionally, services of trains from CSMT towards Vashi, Belapur and Panvel have been canceled between 11:16 am and 4:47 pm. Also, between 10:48 am and 4:43 pm, trains from CSMT towards Bandra and Goregaon will also not run. ‘Up Harbor’ services departing from Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 9:53 am to 3:20 pm, and from Goregaon and Bandra from 10:45 am to 5:13 pm will remain cancelled. To avoid inconvenience to passengers, special services will be run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform 8) during this ‘block’ period. Passengers traveling on the Harbor route will have to travel using ‘Main Marg’ and ‘Western Railway’ between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
