The political turmoil regarding the post of Chief Minister has intensified and a series of meetings and discussions are going on in the corridors of power. Meanwhile, the latest statement of state government minister Vijay Choudhary has made this whole matter more clear and also interesting.
Vijay Chaudhary has clearly said that the role of Bharatiya Janata Party will be very important in the selection of the new Chief Minister of Bihar. He said that the Chief Minister will be the one who will be chosen as the leader of the legislature party of the National Democratic Alliance, and in this process the recommendation of the BJP will be considered decisive. After his statement, it is almost certain that the final decision will be taken at the level of the top leadership of NDA.

From BJP’s side, the name of Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary is emerging prominently, while from Janata Dal United’s side, the discussion is intense about Nishant Kumar. The special thing is that poster making in support of Nishant Kumar has also started in Patna, which clearly indicates that efforts are being made to create an atmosphere for him within JDU as well.

In a poster put up outside the Chief Minister’s residence in Patna, it is written that neither bulldozer ruckus nor riots are needed in Bihar, now a young and sensitive leadership is needed. Through this poster, an attempt has been made to present Nishant Kumar as a new option.
On the other hand, amid political activities, there has been increased activity at the Chief Minister’s residence also. Recently, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Minister Vijay Chaudhary and JDU MP Devesh Chandra Thakur met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Many speculations are being made regarding this meeting, although the leaders have called it a part of the normal political process.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Vijay Chaudhary said that the process of formation of the new government is about to begin, hence talks between the leaders are natural. He also clarified that no concrete discussion has taken place regarding cabinet formation yet, but the situation will become clear in the coming few days.
