Iran’s strict demands and conditions
The Iranian delegation put forward a 10-point proposal in the talks. In this, two demands were most important. First, a ceasefire should be implemented immediately in Lebanon. Secondly, Iran’s assets worth about $6 billion deposited in foreign banks including Qatar should be unfrozen.
Iran said that the issue of Lebanon was also included in the two-week temporary ceasefire agreed upon, but the American side took a tough stance on these demands, which led to a deadlock in the talks.

America sought a clear assurance from Iran that it will not develop the capability to make nuclear weapons. US Vice President JD Vance said that he "Last and best offer" It was put forward, but no concrete reply was received from Iran. There was no consensus between the two sides on transit and security issues related to the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is maintaining its strictness on these issues.
Ghalibaf’s statement

He also said that Iran considers diplomacy as a means to protect its rights and will continue to make every possible effort to protect its national interests. He thanked Pakistan for hosting the talks and saluted the Pakistani people.
Iran’s strong position
Thanking his countrymen, Ghalibaf said that Iran with 9 crore people is a strong nation. He also praised the members of his delegation. Despite the talks ending without an agreement, both sides have not talked about breaking the relationship completely.
Now it remains to be seen which path both the countries will take in future. Iran has clearly indicated that it will not compromise with its interests and rights at any cost.
