Mumbai, 12 April. The last rites of Indian music personality and renowned singer Asha Bhosle will be performed at Shivaji Park here on Monday. Anand Bhosle, son of late Asha Tai, gave this information on Sunday.
It is noteworthy that 92 year old Asha Bhosle died today at Breach Candy Hospital here. He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday due to a heart attack. His demise has created a wave of mourning in the music world, film fraternity and fans across the world. People have taken to social media to remember the great contribution of the great singer to Indian music.
Anand Bhosle said that the general public will be able to pay their last tribute to him on Monday (April 13). Talking to the media, he said, ‘My mother passed away today. People can pay their last respects to her at 11 am tomorrow at Casa Grande, Lower Parel, where she lived. His last rites will be performed tomorrow (Monday) at 4 pm at Shivaji Park.
Considered one of the most famous and versatile voices of Indian music, Asha Bhosle’s career spanned more than seven decades.
