Lakers release Kobe Bufkin
The Los Angeles Lakers have waived guard Kobe Bufkin, ending his two-year contract as the team creates an open roster spot ahead of the playoffs to evaluate another potential addition.
Bufkin saw limited action during his time with the Lakers, appearing in 16 games and averaging 2.9 points in 7.5 minutes per contest.
He originally entered the league as the 15th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft after playing at Michigan.
