Bihar New CM: Nitish Kumar is going to resign from the post of Chief Minister of Bihar soon. Now who will take over the power of Bihar and who will be the new CM? Its discussions have started in political circles and across the country. Meanwhile, Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary met Nitish Kumar on Sunday, due to which political speculation has increased.
In fact, the name of the new Chief Minister of Bihar is to be finalized within the next two days, due to which the tussle in NDA has intensified. A meeting of senior leaders is being held, in which further strategy is being decided.
Samrat-Sinha met Nitish
A day earlier i.e. on Saturday, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha and Cabinet Minister Lakhendra Roshan had met the Chief Minister. There are reports that Nitish may resign from his post on 14th April, after which the new government will take power a day later i.e. on 15th April. If sources associated with the government in Bihar are to be believed, the last meeting of the state cabinet will be held under the chairmanship of Nitish Kumar before the resignation. Various important decisions can be taken in this meeting.
JDU demands to make Nishant CM
The political temperature has reached high regarding the new CM in Bihar. There is a demand to make JDU worker Nishant Kumar the CM. On Sunday, JDU workers put up posters in Patna in support of party leader and Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar. It was written in the posters – Neither bulldozer uproar nor riots again are needed in Bihar, Bihar needs young public servant Nishant Kumar as the shadow of Nitish Kumar. Nitish ji’s mission is incomplete, only Nishant Kumar will complete it. Nitish Sevak asked for Nishant.
BJP will decide the name of Chief Minister: Vijay Chaudhary
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has ended the ongoing suspense regarding the Chief Minister’s face. He says that the new Chief Minister will be appointed by Bharatiya Janata Party i.e. BJP only. BJP has its own internal process, under which the name of the new CM will be decided.
The name of the new CM will be approved in the NDA legislative party meeting.
He told that the name of the new leader will be selected in the NDA legislature party meeting. All allies will agree. The status of the proposed cabinet meeting on April 14 is not clear yet. The minister clearly said that the meeting will definitely take place but the final decision has not been taken yet.
The new government of Bihar will run only under the guidance of Nitish: Jha
Amidst all the tussle, JDU’s acting national president Sanjay Jha has made it clear that even if Nitish Kumar does not hold the post of Chief Minister, the new government will work under his leadership. He said that it was because of the leadership of Nitish Kumar that the people gave their mandate to NDA in 2025. His policies will decide the future direction of the government.
