Bureau Prayagraj- A very exciting match was witnessed between the two teams in the General Manager vs DRM XI friendly cricket match held at the DSA Ground of Prayagraj Division. In the match, DRM team won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, DRM team scored 157 runs losing 5 wickets in 15 overs. On behalf of the team, Akash displayed excellent batting and scored 98 runs in 47 balls and took the team to a strong score.
In bowling on behalf of General Manager’s XI, Dr. Parvez took 3 wickets and Mr. Satendra ji took 1 wicket. The General Manager team, which came to chase the target, performed brilliantly and won by scoring 158 runs in just 12.1 overs without losing any wicket. On behalf of General Manager’s XI, Dr. Parvez led the team to victory by scoring unbeaten 98 runs in 46 balls.
Team General Manager Dr. Parvez was awarded the “Man of the Match” award for his excellent performance. Mr. Akash of DRM team was given the award for better performance. In his address on this occasion, the General Manager congratulated the organizing board and said that such events create mutual harmony among the officers and it is also reflected in the mutual office environment.
During the program, a memento was also presented to the General Manager by DRM Shri Rajneesh Aggarwal on behalf of DSA Sports Cell. This match was a symbol of sportsmanship, teamwork and excellent performance, in which the players of both the teams displayed excellent performance.
