India Share Market Update: Major indices of the Indian stock market, Sensex and Nifty 50, are likely to open lower on April 13 amid weak global market cues. Trends in Gift Nifty are also signaling the beginning of a gap-down for the Indian benchmark index. Gift Nifty was trading at around 23,771, at a discount of nearly 330 points from the previous close of Nifty futures.

The Indian stock market bounced back on Friday with the benchmark Nifty 50 closing above the 24,000 level. The Sensex closed up 918.60 points, or 1.20 percent, at 77,550.25, while the Nifty 50 gained 275.50 points, or 1.16 percent, to settle at 24,050.60.
