“I don’t care”, Trump’s tone of frustration as the peace talks fail

After the failure of the Iran-US peace talks in Islamabad, US President Donald Trump’s tone of frustration was heard. He made it clear that he is not worried about whether America will negotiate with Tehran again in the coming days.

Speaking to reporters in Florida on Monday, he said, “I don’t know if we’re going to get back to the negotiating table with Iran. I’m not worried about that at all. I don’t care.” He claimed that Iran is still looking forward to meeting with America. Tehran has confirmed that it will stop its nuclear program. Iran will no longer build nuclear bombs. However, Tehran has not yet opened its mouth on this demand of the US president.

It is good to say that even before the start of the peace meeting on Saturday, negative tone was heard in Trump’s voice. He said, America has won this war. So deal or not. I don’t care. This is where Iran’s complaint is that the US has deliberately derailed the peace talks. America had already made up its mind that they would not accept any conditions.

Meanwhile, Trump has already announced that America will control shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. He said that he wants ships to move freely in Hormuz. But Iran is not allowing that to happen. He claims he has ordered the US Navy to track down every ship in its waters that has entered Iran’s customs. Washington is unwilling to grant safe passage to those who have paid illegal tolls in the deep sea. It remains to be seen what direction the situation will take in the coming days.
