Anpara Pro Volleyball League Edition-8 was inaugurated late on Sunday evening at the Operating Club located in the residential complex of Anpara Thermal Project. In the inaugural match, Team Setters defeated Team Attackers 3-1.

It took place in the presence of all the respected people of the city including Ind BR Patel, Ind DK Vikal, Ind Sanjay Mahato, Ind Sujit Singh, Ind Piyush Dhar Dwivedi, Dr. Vishal Mohan, Patron of the competition Ind Sushil Singh, Vice President Ind Piyush Rai, representatives of organizations Abhishek Singh, Mukesh Jaiswal, Rajkumar Yadav, Rakesh Jaiswal. The competition was started by cutting the ribbon by the chief guest. Players from Anpara, Dibulganj, Bina, Bijpur, Shaktinagar, Khadiya Kakri, Renusagar and nearby areas are included in different teams in the competition.
It is noteworthy that this competition is being organized by Sporting Club Anpara for the last seven years under a scheme of Suresh Chandra Mishra, Secretary of Sonbhadra Volleyball Association, in which new players also get a chance to show their performance. In the sequence, Secretary Suresh Chandra Mishra said that in this competition, Ind Dhirendra Choubey’s Team Spikers, Ind Adalat Verma’s Team Setters, Ind BR Patel’s Team Attackers, Ind SK Rajak’s Team Defenders, Ind Anirudh Singh’s Team Blockers have participated. With the cooperation of all the team owners, efforts are being made to promote the nearby children in sports.
The first match was played between Team Attackers and Team Setters, in which Setters won the match 3-1. The score of the match was 19-25,25-19, 25-21,25-23. In the role of team manager, DN Dwivedi, Ombrat Singh, Indraman Prasad, Jaiprakash Vishwakarma, Rdevendra Mall, Kamlesh Kumar, Omprakash Pandey, Shivprakash alias Shri, Shiva Singh played the role. The organizing committee included Int Pawan Singh, Pawan Chaurasia, Int Janakdhari, Int Satish Singh, Int Kamlesh, Praveen, Manoj, Omprakash, Himanshu, Nishant, Avneesh, Akash. Sushil Yadav coordinated and completely organized the program.
