35th installment of Ladli Brahmin Yojana released, Rs 1500 reached women’s accounts
Mp news: The 35th installment of Madhya Pradesh’s Ladli Brahmin Yojana has been released. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has transferred Rs 1500 to the accounts of about 1.25 crore women of the state. This amount has been sent directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This time the installment was released on 12 April 2026 during a program organized from Ashta in Sehore district. Earlier, under this scheme, women used to get Rs 1250, but now the government has increased it to Rs 1500 per month, due to which women are getting direct benefit.
How much amount was transferred?
Under this installment, the state government has transferred a total of Rs 1836 crore directly into the accounts of women. Its objective is to make women financially strong and help them in their everyday needs.
Mp news: Who gets the benefit of the scheme?
The benefit of this scheme is available only to those women who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh and are married. This also includes widowed, divorced and abandoned women. Also, the age should be between 21 to 60 years and the annual income of the family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
