RCB VS MI: On April 2, a spectacular high-scoring match was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians at Mumbai Wankhede Stadium. RCB won this match by 18 runs but on the other hand the team has suffered a big blow. Former RCB captain Virat Kohli was not seen on the field during Mumbai Indians’ run chase. Since then his fans are worried whether he has got injured.

Captain Rajat Patidar gave update

Actually, commentator Simon Doull told that he had suffered an ankle injury. After the match, captain Rajat Patidar and all-rounder Krunal Pandya assured that Kohli will be fine. Both were not sure about the seriousness of the injury. Regarding this, RCB captain Rajat Patidar also said, “I don’t know yet, but I think he is fine right now.”

All-rounder Krunal said in the post-match press conference, “I have not spoken to the physio yet, but I think he will be fine. There is nothing to worry about.”

Problem for Mumbai Indians too

In this match, the tension of the team and fans has also increased regarding Mumbai Indians’ veteran player, former Indian captain Rohit Sharma. While batting in this match, he had to seek medical help after the fifth over, but it did not make much difference. Due to hamstring problem, the opener left the field after the second ball of the sixth over.

RCB’s next match

After this he did not return for the entire innings. He scored 19 runs in 13 balls. RCB’s next match is against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 15 at their home ground. Whereas, Mumbai Indians will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) at home on 16th April.
