Veteran singer Asha Bhosle, who achieved a different position in Hindi playback singing with her unique voice, passed away on Sunday. She was 92 years old. Asha Bhosle was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday evening due to chest infection and weakness. Asha Bhosle’s last rites were performed on Monday. From 11 am onwards, his body was kept at Casa Grande in Lower Parel for last respects. Then it was done in Shivaji Park at around 5:15 pm. Asha’s mortal remains were kept at her Mumbai residence Casa Grande for the last glimpse. Celebs arrived to pay their last respects to Asha. Stars like Ranveer Singh, Tabu, Rakesh Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Helen, Udit Narayan, Sachin Tendulkar, Mohammed Sira, Anuradha Paudwal, Riteish Deshmukh came to pay their last respects to Asha Bhosle. Asha Bhosle’s family is devastated by her demise. Asha’s granddaughter Janai Bhosle is in bad condition and crying. During the last darshan, celebs encouraged Janai and made her calm down.

Health and last moments

Asha was suffering from health related problems for some time. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on 11 April due to difficulty in breathing. When his condition worsened, he was shifted to the ICU, but despite many efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved. Doctors confirmed that he died due to multi-organ failure.
