Pawan Kalyan’s action drama film *Ustad Bhagat Singh*, which was released in theaters on March 19, 2026 on the occasion of Ugadi, is now set to premiere on Netflix from April 16, 2026. The film also stars Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna in lead roles, and will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

The film, directed by Harish Shankar, marks the comeback of the duo after the 2012 blockbuster *Gabbar Singh*. Despite huge expectations and Pawan Kalyan’s star power, the film received mixed to negative reviews and at the box office it faced tough competition from *Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge*, which opened with over Rs 102 crore. *Ustad Bhagat Singh* collected around Rs 25–31 crore on its first day.

The story revolves around Bhagat Singh (Pawan Kalyan), a former police officer living a secluded life near the Nallamala forest. His peaceful life is thrown into turmoil when he kidnaps the son of a powerful Chief Minister (R. Parthiban). Instead of involving the police, the Chief Minister takes the help of a militant group. As the story progresses through flashbacks, Bhagat’s past is revealed — he was mentored by an idealistic teacher (K.S. Ravi Kumar) who instilled in him strong moral values inspired by Bhagat Singh. The film explores themes of justice, corruption and revenge through high-stakes conflicts.

The star cast of this film includes Rao Ramesh, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, Gautami and other actors. The film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the background score is composed by Thaman S.

Initially announced as *Bhavadiyadu Bhagat Singh*, the name of this film was later changed. The film is arriving on OTT just a few weeks after its theatrical release, giving fans who missed it in theaters another chance to watch this highly entertaining film. Netflix has started promoting its release with attractive posters and taglines related to the film’s dialogues.
