There is a feeling of heat after eating, body heat is connected to bile.

Everyone usually feels good after eating food, but some people start sweating and feel uneasy immediately after eating food. Some people also feel hot, but this is not a normal symptom at all. This is a sign that something wrong is going on inside the body. In Ayurveda, those symptoms have been linked to digestive problems. Even though the symptoms seem normal, they show increasing heat within the body.

Ayurveda believes that when the level of digestive fire in the body increases, the body starts feeling warm and hot. When this happens, instead of being digested in the stomach, the food is not digested properly due to excess fire and heat starts increasing inside the body and we start sweating. Apart from this, eating fried or spicy food also increases bile in the body and due to increase in bile, heat starts increasing in the body. Due to increase in bile, one has to face problems like burning sensation in the body, heartburn, sour belching, and excessive gas formation. Digestion is also affected due to this and one feels uneasiness after eating.

Sometimes consuming wrong food combination also has negative effects on the body. This affects the digestive fire and also increases the level of heat within the body. Impaired functioning of the liver also affects digestion. When the liver does not work properly, the body is not able to process the food properly, and this is the reason why there is restlessness and nervousness after the food is not digested properly.

Now the question is how to get relief from these problems. For this, it is very important to have a balanced diet. Try to take a balanced and light diet, which is easy to digest. Avoid fried, roasted or spicy food. Include things in the diet that pacify pitta, which causes heat in the body. Due to balanced body heat, digestion will be easier and heat will also be reduced.
