In China, the 4GB + 128GB variant of the Redmi R70 5G smartphone has been priced at CNY 1,599 i.e. around Rs 21,900. The smartphone is also available for purchase in 6GB + 128GB, 6GB + 256GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage variants. While the 6GB + 128GB variant of the Redmi R70m 5G smartphone has been priced at CNY 1,799 i.e. around Rs 24,600. The smartphone is available for purchase in 6GB + 256GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage variants. The Redmi R70 5G and Redmi R70m 5G feature a 6.9-inch HD (720×1600 pixels) LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. It has brightness up to 800 nits, contrast ratio of 1500:1, DC dimming and support for Wet Hand Touch 2.0.

Both the smartphones are based on Unisock T8300 chipset, which is manufactured on 6nm process and comes with Mali G57 GPU. It has LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. This device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Both the Redmi R70 5G and Redmi R70m 5G models have a 13-megapixel primary rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
