Had Iran not attacked, it would have had to say ‘Sir’, Trump’s big claim, shocking statement on war
Donald Trump: President of America Donald Trump Said on Tuesday (April 13) that the ongoing conflict with Iran is now nearing its end. He said this in an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, which will air Wednesday on the program “Mornings with Maria.”
When Bartiromo asked him directly whether the war was over, Trump avoided declaring victory and gave a clear indication of where the situation was headed. “I think it’s very close to being over,” he said. “I think it’s almost over.”
What did Trump say on military operations?
This war with Iran has been going on for more than six weeks. Trump also defended his decision to launch this military operation, saying it was nearing its end. He said that this step was necessary to stop nuclear weapons. Trump said, “I had to take this step because if I didn’t do it, Iran would have a nuclear weapon right now. And if they had a nuclear weapon, you would be calling everybody there ‘Sir’, and you don’t want to do that.”
When will the war end?
This statement has come at a time when the two-week ceasefire is about to end on April 22. Pakistan also tried to negotiate between the two countries, although it was unsuccessful. After the failure of talks in Islamabad last week, no new talks have been decided at present. It is believed that now the talks can take place in Türkiye. However, official information regarding this has not been revealed yet.
Meanwhile, the maritime blockade imposed by the US on Iran’s ports still continues. Also, the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and its associated strike group are deployed about 200 kilometers away from the coast of Iran.
When and how did the war start?
This war started on 28 February with the Israeli and American attack. Both countries had targeted the Supreme Leader of Iran. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the attacks and many other leaders were also killed along with him. Ayatollah’s relatives were also among those killed.
