Hunger Games’ Ethan Jamieson Arrested on Alleged Assault Charges — Report

Ethan Jamiesonknown for his role in The Hunger Gameshas reportedly been arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon in Raleigh, North Carolina. The 27-year-old actor had also been arrested in 2025 on a separate charge of resisting a public officer.

Reports say Ethan Jamieson was arrested on alleged assault charges in North Carolina

Ethan Jamieson, best known for playing the tribute from District 4 in The Hunger Games, has been arrested for assault in Raleigh, North Carolina. TMZ states that he has been taken in for 3 counts of assault. The assault is being reported to have been with a deadly weapon and an intent to kill.

According to court documents cited by TMZ, Jamieson allegedly assaulted three men. They are identified as E.F., J.M., and K.W., with a semi-automatic 9mm handgun.

A spokesperson for the Raleigh Police Department spoke to EW about the case. “Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who reported that an unknown suspect riding an e-bike had fired a shot at their vehicle while they were driving,” the spokesperson said. “Two additional occupants were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified Ethan Jamieson (27) as the individual who discharged a single gunshot in the direction of the victims’ vehicle.”

This is not Jamieson’s first reported offense. The actor was previously arrested on March 21, 2025, and charged with resisting a public officer. He was sentenced in that case on March 26, 2026.

In addition to his role in The Hunger Games, Jamieson has appeared in an episode of One Tree Hill. It is a 2010 TV movie titled The Rusty Bucket Kids: Lincoln, Journey to 16, and an episode of Justified.
