A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, which has shocked everyone. The cruelty meted out to an innocent girl has not only raised questions on humanity, but has also ruined the dignity of relationships. In this case, the accused is not an outsider but is said to be the victim’s own cousin.

This incident took place in a village of Karja police station area, where on April 14, a 15-year-old teenager called a three-and-a-half-year-old girl from home and took her with him. After this he raped the girl. The young man brutalized the girl and seriously injured her. In this incident, the girl suffered serious injuries in her private parts, due to which her condition worsened.

After the incident, the accused left the girl at home in a bloody condition. When the girl’s mother returned with ration, she saw the girl sitting near her grandmother. She got scared after seeing blood flowing from the girl’s body. When asked, the girl gave information about the entire incident in gestures.

The mother immediately took the girl to Madvan CHC for treatment, from where considering her serious condition, she was referred to a bigger hospital. After this a complaint was lodged in Karja police station. Taking immediate action, the police have taken the accused teenager into custody and his interrogation is ongoing.

FSL team has also been called for investigation, so that the truth of the matter can be brought out. At the same time, the victim’s mother told that when she went to the accused’s house to complain, she was told to get treatment there. But seeing the seriousness of the matter, he registered a case with the police. Now the police is investigating every aspect.

Court’s decision in a three year old case

At the same time, the court has convicted two accused in an incident that took place three years ago in another village of the same police station area. Both have been sentenced to four years in prison for attempting to rape a 15-year-old girl. A fine of Rs 20,000 each has also been imposed on the culprits Rajkishore Mahato and Sitam Kumar Mahato. Also, the court has recommended to give one lakh rupees to the victim under Bihar Compensation Act.

According to the victim’s father, his daughter had gone out of the house in August 2023. During that time, three youths caught hold of him and tried to render him unconscious by intoxicating him. It is alleged that they tried to misbehave with her, but when people nearby arrived they ran away. A separate trial is going on against the third accused in this case. The police completed the investigation and filed a charge sheet against the remaining accused, on the basis of which the court pronounced the sentence.
