The actress told how in the initial phase of her career, a South filmmaker had tried to misbehave with her on the pretext of audition.
Called alone in room and held hand, Daisy told the horrifying scene
In an interview given to ‘The Free Press Journal’, Daisy Shah, pointing towards the bitter reality like casting couch, said that once a filmmaker from the South had come to Mumbai. According to Daisy, “We, about 6-7 girls, had gone to meet him. He was calling everyone in the room one by one and meeting them alone. When my turn came and I went inside, he touched me inappropriately and held my hand. I did not like his behavior at all and I immediately left from there.”
“I don’t like being touched by anyone”, the actress expressed her hesitation.
While sharing her personal preference, Daisy said that she is very uncomfortable with physical touch. She said, “I have been reluctant to be touched by people since the beginning. I don’t even get massages done because I don’t like being touched by anyone, even if it is a woman. In such a situation, holding the hand of an unknown man was a big deal for me. I replied to him at that time that ‘I will talk to you later’ and never contacted him after that.” However, Daisy did not reveal the name of that filmmaker.
Journey from background dancer to Bollywood star
Daisy Shah’s film journey has been quite a struggle. He started his career as an assistant to famous choreographer Ganesh Acharya. Before joining acting, she appeared as a background dancer in many films. She debuted as a lead actress in Kannada films, but she got real recognition in 2014 with Salman Khan’s ‘Jai Ho’. After this she was a part of big films like ‘Hate Story 3’ and ‘Race 3’.

Along with films, Daisy is now also active on digital platforms. Recently he was seen in Amjad Khan’s web series ‘Red Room’ Was seen in, in which his acting was highly appreciated.
