“Sit here…” When Baghpat DM started talking to the langur, video shared on social media

Generally, the authority of the officers and tight security is seen in government offices, but what happened in Baghpat Collectorate surprised everyone. During a public hearing here, when a langur suddenly reached the DM’s table, the District Magistrate not only caressed it lovingly but even vacated his chair for it.

Actually, the matter is about ‘Farmers’ Day’. District Magistrate Asmita Lal was listening to the problems of the farmers in the Collectorate auditorium. The officer and the complainant were busy in their respective talks when suddenly a langur broke the security cordon and sat straight on the DM’s table. Seeing the langur so close, the people present there got scared for a moment, but instead of fear, there was a big smile on the face of DM Asmita Lal. He left his chair very casually and gestured to the langur and said, “Sit here.”
