Phil Salt Stunning Catch Of Rishabh Pant: In IPL 2026, Phil Salt once again impressed everyone with his brilliant fielding. He took an excellent catch of Rishabh Pant by diving and gave a big blow to Lucknow. Pant was making a comeback after injury, but could not last long.

England’s star player Phil Salt, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2026 match, once again made headlines with his fielding. In the match being played against Lucknow Super Giants at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday (April 15), Salt took a brilliant diving catch and ended the innings of captain Rishabh Pant.

Actually, Rishabh Pant had earlier got injured and went out of the field. Josh Hazlewood’s ball hit his elbow, after which he had to retire hurt. Although Pant later returned to bat, he could not stay at the crease for long.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was bowling the fifth ball of the 17th over of the innings. Pant tried to play a sweep shot on this ball, due to which the ball was seen going into the empty space between deep midwicket and square leg. But then Phil Salt came running fast and made a spectacular dive and caught the ball before it fell on the ground. This catch was so spectacular that everyone was surprised. Pant was out after scoring 1 run in just 6 balls and the team got a big breakthrough.

If we talk about the match, the batting of Lucknow Super Giants was a complete flop and the team could score only 146 runs in 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh (40 runs), Mukul Chaudhary (39 runs) and Ayush Badoni (38 runs) definitely put up some fight, but the rest of the batsmen could not do anything special. Rasikh Salam Dar performed brilliantly in bowling for Royal Challengers Bangalore and took 4 wickets. Whereas Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets.
