Attempt to stop farmers at Gabhana toll plaza
At the same time, an attempt was made to stop the farmers marching towards Hapur at Gabhana toll plaza in Aligarh, but there too the situation went out of control. The workers gathered in large numbers, thwarting the efforts of the police, crossed the toll and moved ahead. After this incident, the administration has increased security in Hapur and surrounding areas including Bulandshahr and a large number of police forces have been deployed.

The tension increased further when the crowd tried to break the police cordon. Meanwhile, a vehicle ran over the feet of a police officer and after this the situation worsened. The angry mob also damaged an officer’s car.
