Trump said on his social media platforms,Congratulations to Taranjit Sandhu on becoming the new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.” He said that as a seasoned diplomat and former Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Sandhu has always shown a deep commitment to strengthening US-India relations.।
Trump said,I wish him every success in leading Delhi’s progress and enhancing global engagement.” Taranjit Singh Sandhu, who serves as the 21st Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, was India’s 28th Ambassador to the US from February 2020 to January 2024. He has also served as India’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka।
