Gill made fifty for the third consecutive time
Gujarat Titans have registered their third consecutive win in the IPL 2026 season. In the match played in Ahmedabad on Friday, they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 5 wickets. Batting first, Kolkata was all out after scoring 180 runs in 20 overs. In response, Gujarat achieved the target of 181 runs in 19.4 overs.
Gill’s brilliant innings
Gujarat captain Shubhman Gill played a brilliant inning of 86 runs in 50 balls in this match. He along with Sai Sudarshan made an opening partnership of 57 runs in 31 balls. Gill made partnerships of 38 runs with Jos Buttler and 46 runs with Washington Sundar. Apart from Gill, Sai Sudarshan scored 22, Butler scored 25 and Sundar scored 13 runs. Varun Chakraborty of Kolkata took 2 wickets.
