According to a report in Koimoi, Akshay Kumar has charged 28.5% less for ‘Bhoot Bangla’ than his previous film ‘Jolly LLB 3’. Akshay has taken Rs 70 crore for ‘Jolly LLB 3’ and Rs 50 crore for ‘Bhoot Bangla’. He is the highest paid actor in the film.

While Wamika Gabbi charged Rs 3 crore for ‘Bhoot Bangla’, Paresh Rawal charged Rs 2 crore. Reportedly, Tabu took 16% less remuneration for ‘Bhoot Bangla’ than her previous film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’. Tabu took Rs 2.5 crore for Priyadarshan’s film.

Rajpal Yadav was paid Rs 1 to 1.5 crore for ‘Bhoot Bangla’. When Rajpal Yadav was in Tihar Jail in the check-bounce case, Priyadarshan had said in an interview to ‘Mid Day’ that he had increased the actor’s remuneration for ‘Bhoot Bangla’ due to his financial difficulties. However, he did not disclose the exact amount. Meanwhile, Jissu Sengupta was paid Rs 1 crore.
