Iran again threatens America regarding Hormuz Strait, remove naval blockade immediately
Tehran. Iran considers the US naval blockade a violation of the ceasefire and if this blockade is not lifted, Iran will close the Strait of Hormuz again. Hours earlier on Friday, Iran’s Foreign Minister had announced the opening of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz for commercial ships during the period of the Lebanon ceasefire.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in his address on Friday that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is completely open for commercial ships during the period of the ceasefire related to Lebanon. Arghachi said the ships would follow routes coordinated by Iran’s port and maritime organization.

After the ceasefire in Lebanon, Iran reopened the strait with three conditions, the first of which is that the ships must be commercial. The movement of military vessels is restricted and neither the vessels nor their cargo should have any connection with any enemy country. Ships must pass through routes determined by Iran and movement must be coordinated with Iranian forces responsible for route management.
After Iran’s announcement, Iran International, quoting IRGC-affiliated Fars News, said that Iran considers the US naval blockade a violation of the ceasefire and if the blockade is not lifted, the Strait of Hormuz will be closed again.
