‘Indian Mim Zindabad’, Iran hits out at Trump by reminding Trump of ‘Dhamal’ in Hormuz siege

Iran resorted to Bollywood again to poke US President Donald Trump. This time their tool is the popular film ‘Dhamal’ released in 2007. Tehran taunted Trump by sharing a scene from the film.

In a particular scene of the film, actor Riteish Deshmukh’s character is being chased by some youths. He hides behind a door without a wall to save his life. Since there are no walls around. So those youths caught him easily. On Saturday, the Iranian embassy in Mumbai shared the scene, writing, ‘India Mim Zindabad.’ They compared the whole scene to America’s siege of Hormuz. Incidentally, a few days ago, Iran mocked Trump by pulling a dialogue from Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Om Shanti Om’ as ‘Picture Avi Baki Hai’. This time Tehran is the refuge of Bollywood.

It should be noted that Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz again on Saturday. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement that Washington had failed to keep its promises. Despite Iran’s opening of the Hormuz, the US continues to blockade the waterway. Tehran has made it clear that Hormuz will remain closed until the US guarantees the free passage of all ships bound for Iran. However, Washington has not yet opened its mouth on the matter.
