Narendra Modi government’s Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill 2026 could not be passed in the Lok Sabha. Congress has expressed happiness over the failure of this bill. Congress General Secretary and MP Priyanka Gandhi held a press conference on Saturday and said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is plotting against the Constitution and the states, which has now failed. Priyanka Gandhi said that BJP was trying to use women. BJP is furious over this statement. Former Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Smriti Irani have hit back at Congress on this issue.
Priyanka Gandhi said, ‘The people of the country are aware, the government cannot mislead them. The people of India are seeing that the Modi government is dependent only on media and PR and crores of rupees are being spent on it. Amit Shah ji was saying yesterday that trust us, but the reality is that the public has lost faith in this government.
