Organized human trafficking gang successfully exposed in joint action of Robertsganj and AHT police, wanted accused arrested

Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, supervision of Area Officer City Randhir Mishra and under the able leadership of Police Station AHT in-charge Madhav Singh and Inspector Robertsganj in-charge Ramswaroop Verma, in the course of the campaign being run against heinous crimes like human trafficking, an organized human trafficking gang has been exposed by achieving significant success by Police Station Robertsganj and Police Station AHT Police Force.
FIR No. 177/2026 registered at Police Station Robertsganj, wanted accused Shiv Singh alias Ramlal son of Charan Singh, resident of Ward no. 50 Kachchi Sarai, Police Station Nihalganj, District Dhawalpur, Rajasthan, age about 45 years, on 18.04.2026, Inspector Madhav Singh May Hamrah, in-charge of Police Station AHT, and Inspector Ranjit Singh May Hamrah of Police Station Robertsganj, from Village Pawar area, were surrounded and arrested by the police team on the information of an informer.
During the interrogation of the arrested accused, the fact came to light that he had taken the victim (minor/girl) with him on the pretext of getting her work. After this, he took her to Agra and Aligarh through various districts, where he along with other associates sold the victim for approximately ₹ 1,20,000/-. The accused also admitted that the victim was kept with different persons at different places, where she was forcibly physically abused, due to which she became pregnant.
It has also come to light in the case that this crime has been committed by an organized gang, in which other co-accused are involved. Continuous efforts are being made by the police team for his arrest. Legal action is being taken against the arrested accused as per rules and a challan is being issued in the court. The police team that made the arrest mainly included Inspector in-charge Madhav Singh, Police Station AHT, District Sonbhadra, Superintendent of Police Ranjit Singh and other police personnel.
