Jharkhand Government:Jharkhand government has made major changes in the Monkey Munda Scholarship Scheme. Now this scheme will not be limited to only diploma and engineering, but all the girl students doing professional courses will get its benefit. Earlier, under this scheme only polytechnic and engineering students were given scholarship.

The government made these changes

According to the new system, girl students studying in Diploma will get a scholarship of Rs 15,000 per month and girl students doing graduate level professional courses will get a scholarship of Rs 30,000 per month. The government has expanded the scope of the scheme and included many new courses. According to the information, these include courses like engineering, pharmacy, architecture, design, management, hotel management as well as modern courses like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber ​​Security, Forensic Science and Computer Applications.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

The benefit of this scheme will be available to those girl students who are residents of Jharkhand and are studying in any recognized institute of the state. Even if the student has passed 10th or 12th from any other state, she must be a resident of Jharkhand. The government has also decided that girl students who have started their studies before the 2025-26 session will also get the benefit of this scheme, but the condition is that they should not fail in any subject.

15 thousand girl students will get benefits

Now this scheme will be operated by Jharkhand State Higher Education Council. The application process will be through the respective institutions and the scholarship amount will be sent directly to the Aadhaar linked bank account of the girl students through DBT. Let us tell you that earlier only 4,200 girl students used to get the benefit of this scheme, but now it has been increased to 15 thousand, due to which more girl students will get benefit.
