West Indies player Blessing Muzarabani makes serious allegations regarding ban in PSL

Islamabad United had included Zimbabwean fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani for the 11th season of Pakistan Super League, but Blessing Muzarabani refused to play PSL to play for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2026, after which Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB banned Muzarabani from PSL for 2 years. Now a new twist has emerged in this matter. Blessing Muzarabani’s agency has made a shocking revelation.

Pakistan Super League team did not give contract to Blessing Muzarabani

After the ban in Pakistan Super League, Blessing Muzarabani’s agency has now written a post saying, “For the last 6 weeks, we remained silent in public, because we did not want to increase any more controversy with PSL and PCB, but seeing the heavy and objectionable criticism against Muzarabani on social media, we can no longer remain silent. Muzarabani loves his fans very much. We have seen him becoming a good person and world cricketer, but those who call themselves “fans” They say and spread hatred in his social media messages, they are shameful for humanity.

Islamabad United announced on social media without contract

Blessing Muzarabani’s agency said that on 13 February 2026, Islamabad United contacted Blessing Muzarabani and the contract was signed, but it was dependent on getting NOC from Zimbabwe Cricket (NOC cannot be obtained without PSL contract), but Islamabad United announced this on social media. No contract was received from Islamabad United till 27 February 2026, after which the deal was signed with IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. It was also said on behalf of Muzarabani that he was not included in the PSL 2026 auction and he was not given any official contract to play the tournament. In such a situation, you cannot violate a contract which you never received.

Muzarabani demanded removal of ban from PSL

Any restriction imposed on participation in the PSL is excessive and unfair. This was also said by Muzarabani. He also said that even in the past, players who actually broke contracts did not receive such severe punishment. We appeal to Pakistan Super League that this ban should be withdrawn and it should be considered an administrative mistake. We have no personal dispute with PSL or Islamabad United.
