Shreveport: A shocking incident has come to light from Louisiana. Here a domestic dispute took such a violent form that 8 children died in the firing. Police officials say that this incident was carried out due to domestic dispute.

Officials said that 8 people have died in the firing due to domestic dispute. The age of the deceased was between 1 to 14 years. The shooting happened around 6 a.m. Sunday, according to Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith.

He told that a total of 10 people have also been injured in this incident. He said that information is being collected about the incident.

The suspected attacker was also killed
According to Smith, in this incident the attacker was chased and shot by the police. The attacker died in this firing.

The attacker tried to escape by snatching a vehicle but the police kept chasing him. While chasing the vehicle, the police opened fire, killing the attacker. Louisiana State Police are investigating the shooting.

“Investigators are investigating the scene and gathering further information,” state police said in a statement. State police said no officers were injured in the incident.

“We are remembering the victims, their families and loved ones, and our Shreveport community in our prayers and thoughts during this extremely difficult time,” said Johnson, who represents the Shreveport area in Congress.

Mayor Tom Arseneux said of the incident, “It’s a tragic situation, probably the worst tragic situation we’ve ever seen in Shreveport.”

Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith said, “I don’t know what to say. My heart is shocked. I can’t even imagine how something like this could happen.”
